Balayage is a method of applying lighter to the hair. The origin is French and translates to “sweeping” or “hand painting.” In the professional hair world we like to associate this method with lightening the hair through hand painting lighter directly to the hair surface. The effect this method produces is a much lighter and natural color line. When the hair grows out the transition from lightened hair to natural hair is much softer. This creates a more natural appearance.
Balayage is a lightening process through the application of bleach onto the hair to create a natural, softer more balanced transition. The use of bleach is essential in creating lighter tones throughout the hair. We use professional bleach that rebuilds the bonds throughout the lightening process to keep the hair soft, lustrous and damage free. Our professional products are the industry top brands and we use additives such as Olaplex and various other bond building agents to ensure the highest level of protection for your hair.
We know balayage and highlighting as the two most common ways of achieving highlighted or lighter tones throughout the hair.
